Project Overview

Brief Description: Allows an analyst user to segment the wall and lumen of the cardiac arteries concurrently, to gain significant time improvements in the workflow.

The Challenge

The existing workflow was sequential, analysts edited the wall, then lumen. If minor corrections were needed, then they needed to discard and redo the steps. This was a time-consuming step in the cardiac analysis and caused significant time delays to get a report out to the provider/patient.
Hypothesis: Providing a reference image of a normal pediatric brain will reduce the time taken by a general radiologist to read the pediatric exam by at least 30%.
